​A Framework for Quality Professional Learning at a Distance

When planning the 2024 AALPD COABE Pre-Conference session, Designing High-Quality Professional Learning at a Distance, AALPD reviewed existing standards and frameworks for evaluating the quality of professional development and distance learning. We identified commonalities between frameworks and considered our own experience as learners and facilitators of distance learning to develop our own checklist for evaluating professional learning at a distance. The infographic and checklist below are a user-friendly way to review a distance professional learning opportunity and identify areas for improvement.
