AALPD COABE Pre-Conference Session: Supporting Transfer of Learning in Professional Development Sunday, March 30, 2025 8:30 - 11:30 AM CDT
Professional development provides adult education practitioners with opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills, but it will only have an impact if participants put what they learn into practice. This interactive COABE Pre-Conference session equips adult education professional developers and trainers with strategies to support the transfer of learning in PD settings. Focus areas include microlearning, coaching, professional learning communities, job-embedded tasks, and institutional supports. Participants will gain actionable insights and tools to enhance PD effectiveness.
