This webinar will explore how adult education practitioners can empower adult learners to take advantage of the opportunities afforded by the internet and social media to practice positive, proactive, and empathetic online behavior. Participants will learn how New Hampshire expanded the annual letter-writing campaign to include using social media as a tool to build community and increase student voice.
About the Presenter: Ginette Chandler is an educator, professional developer, and aspiring writer. She has worked in a training and education capacity for over twenty years. She first became involved in adult education when she started volunteer tutoring at a local library. That first tutor match was so humbling that she left the pharmaceutical industry to pursue a career in adult education. Today she serves as the Director of Professional Development Services, NH Adult Education at Second Start. Click here for meeting information. The presentation will last approximately 30 minutes, with time for questions. The monthly Board meeting will follow the webinar. We hope you can join us!
