AALPD Webinar: Trying Something New in PD - Sharing Innovative Approaches to Transference

Members of AALPD came together last week to share fresh, replicable professional development ideas. Building on our COABE pre-conference session on transference of learning, the webinar highlighted microlearning, coaching, and professional learning communities. Several states shared how they are already putting these ideas into practice—or making plans to do so.
The conversation focused on small but powerful shifts rather than sweeping changes, and participants shared new approaches they are trying in their own contexts. It was a great way to kick off the new fiscal year, and a reminder that AALPD is a community where we continue to learn with and from one another.
